Playboy twins in body paint

By TIM NIXON

IF the game on offer wasn’t enough to keep Super Bowl fans captivated, then these topless pictures of HUGH HEFNER'S twin girlfriends KARISSA and KRISTINA SHANNON surely would have been.

The beauties were smothered in body paint at a party hosted by their boyfriend's Playboy empire.

Not that many half-cut party attendees would have caught on to the fact these girls were stripped to the waist.

Each was adorned with impressive body decorations, sporting painted-on versions of bras and scanty alternatives to NFL-style strips.

No doubt the eye-catching sight would have helped put the smiles back on the faces of Arizona Cardinals stars, following their defeat to Pittsburgh Steelers.

NSW body paint competition held at Rose Bay

Article from: The Daily Telegraph

IS it painting or sculpture? Primal or contemporary? One thing's for sure - Tim Gratton's brand of art leaves no room for modesty.

Gratton is a body painter and is the driving force behind the first NSW body painting competition to be held at Rose Bay RSL Club tomorrow night.

In Europe, body painting has a devoted following and a regular calendar of championship competitions.

"I'm gauging to see if we can tie in with them and have an Australian one in a year's time," Gratton said yesterday.

Tomorrow's competition starts at 7pm, and is free for people to come and watch. There will even be a people's choice award, as well as $1000 in prize money.

Gratton expects upwards of 15 entrants who will prepare their models from 3pm.

The job of the models is to show off the artists' paintwork to best advantage.

Gratton has been contacted by one artist who plans to paint graffiti on the skin of her male model.

Gratton is not entering tomorrow's competition.

Instead, he has planned a surprise to conclude the show. It involves two performers, including 22-year-old Emily Philippou.

In less than an hour yesterday Gratton painted Philippou so she blended in with the sandstone at Nielsen Park in Vaucluse.

Body painting is a form of Trompe-l'oeil body art, considered by some as the most ancient form of art. Unlike tattoo and other forms of body art, body painting is temporary, painted onto the human skin, and lasts for only several hours, or at most (in the case of Mehndi or "henna tattoo") a couple of weeks. Painting of the face is known as face painting. It is often written as one word bodypainting. This category includes all kind of body art, body paintings, extremely realistic tattoo jobs... There are many body paint images floating around the net, but we included only the finest among them! Check them out, and comment... Enjoy!
